Originally used as the College’s main classroom, ‘School’ was built in the late 17th Century. The Masters’ ‘thrones’ and benches for the pupils are still in place at one end. The walls are hung with 15th century Flemish tapestries and with portraits of headmasters from the 17th Century onwards.

School is a popular venue for lectures and talks, and has previously been used as a venue for the Winchester Books Festival, corporate conferences and educational lectures.
